Manitoba Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals
The Manitoba Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals is comprised of Licensed Insolvency Trustees who strive to help individuals and businesses throughout Manitoba who are facing financial difficulties. Our members are licensed by the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy, under the federal Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. The cornerstone of that legislation is to provide individuals and companies with protection from their creditors. This is referred to as a Stay of Proceedings. This protection is not available under any other debt relief program.
By working in conjunction with our national association, the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals (CAIRP), MAIRP both supports and represents its members to ensure that our insolvency and restructuring professionals can provide the best solutions to Manitobans. Recognizing its social responsibility to the public, MAIRP holds its members to a level of professionalism and integrity required to maintain the highest measure of trust in both its members and the insolvency profession.
Furthermore, MAIRP aims to further the vision of CAIRP within the province of Manitoba, such that its members remain leaders within the insolvency profession and are recognized by their expertise in providing information and solutions within the field of insolvency and restructuring.
